A lot has happened since my last post. Like, a lot. My last post was in August 2017 and I wrote about enjoying the space in between the place where you are and the place where you want to be. The funny thing is that there will most likely always be that space in between. There will always be a here and now and there will always be a somewhere you want to be. That’s what life is all about isn’t it? Defining what you want then making your way towards it.
Since August 2017, life has been…. a lot. There have been deaths of loved ones and of pets. There’s been a pandemic!? There have been many a diagnosis and there have been miscarriages. Yes, plural. And there have been multiple avenues of assisted fertility taken. There is also a beautiful baby boy. There has also been a deep shift within and the last 5 and a half years has been the framework of a new venture. More of which will be shared over the coming weeks and months.
Of all the things that this rollercoaster ride has taught me, there is one which I would like to share with you today. That is, while you’re busy listening to all the noise and opinions of those around you who think they know better, it’s easy to drown out your own voice. It’s easy to give away your power to anyone else who has what you desire. BUT we need to know (really know) from that deep inner self perspective if it’s right for us. If we’re following a path out of fear or out of lack, we’ll feel like it’s a chore, it will feel like we’re restricted and often it just won’t work. We need to connect with our intuition and we need to listen to what it has to say. It knows us best and it knows the best way to get you to where you want to be. Stop giving your power over to those around you and call your power back.
