I Am. It’s such a beautiful mantra.
I got this one from Deepak Chopra through a Super Soul Sunday interview with Oprah Winfrey in which he mentions this mantra. (as an aside, even the way he says the word mantra has a beautiful, calming sound to it). And I must tell you this one tends to send me off into the energetic realm of we are all connected, peace, love and happiness etc – which is probably a great testament to the mantra in its self.
I Am.
I Am.
I Am.
I love this mantra because it always, and I do mean always, has this amazing ability to bring me back to peace and contentment. Back into my own being. Like a way of calling my energy back to me, of calling my spirit back to me. It has a way of making everything feel so still and quiet.
Give it a try. Just repeat over and over and over for a minute or two and notice how the words make you feel.
I am… I am… I am… I am…
It reminds us that we are not the labels we give ourselves. We are not a “Kinesiologist”. We are not a “lover”, we are not a “sister” a “daughter”, a “seamstress”, a “mum” a “taxi driver”, sales assistant, friend, lover, son, child or father (you get the idea). We simply are. Full stop. End of sentence.
I’m sure you’ve heard the saying before, that we often forget that we are human beings, not human doings.
So, lather, rinse, repeat.
I am.
I am.
I am.
As always, download the image and save it to your phone, desktop or pin it somewhere you’ll see it. When you see it, say it and if you think someone you know might benefit from this mantra, share it.
