It’s time to get un-stuck, get out of the ordinary and get into the extraordinary.

  1. Hi Dana,
I have just finished reading a book “The Light Between Oceans” by M L Stedman. There was an interesting bit in the book which I thought might interest you –
This quote is from a book I just read
From the book “The Light Between Oceans” pag 342.
Hannah is talking to her husband Frank about the troubles he has experienced
“but how can you just get over these things? You’ve had so much strife but you’re always happy. How do you do it?”
“I choose to”, he said. “I can leave myself to rot in the past, spendmy time hating people for what happened, like my father did, or I can forgive and forget.”
“But that is not that easy”, she says.
He smiles and says “Oh but it is so much less exhausting. You only have to forgive once. To resent, you have to do it all day, every day. You have to keep remembering all the bad things. I would have to make a list, a very long list and make sure I hated the people on it the right amount. That I did a very proper job of hating, too. No, we always have a choice, all of us.”

It is not an easy thing to do that is for sure – as his wife says. But it does make sense.
Another book I have just read, about Laws of Attraction which you have already written about, is called Excuse Me, Your Life is Waiting. by Lynn Grabhorn. She has had a lot of success with the Laws of Attraction. I am trying it to a small degree and have found some positive relationship results which is encouraging.

And your site is fabulous Dana. I love your Monday Mantras.

    Love
    Val
